By accessing and using the AJ NOVA website and student portal, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including students, visitors, and anyone who accesses our platform.

All prices displayed on our website include 19% German VAT (Mehrwertsteuer/MwSt) unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
As a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason (§ 355 BGB). The withdrawal period begins from the day of contract conclusion.

Exception: The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if we have fully performed the service and you gave prior express consent and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once the contract is fully performed (§ 356(4) BGB).

Final decisions are made by universities, APS authorities, uni-assist, visa offices, and other official bodies based on their own criteria. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

We provide guidance and support services only. All official submissions must be made directly to the respective authorities.
All content on the AJ NOVA platform, including software, text, images, logos, and design, is the property of AjNova UG (haftungsbeschränkt) and protected by German and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Documents generated for you (SOP, LOR, etc.) are licensed to you for personal use in your university applications.
We process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and German data protection laws. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
Documents you upload (transcripts, passport copies, degree certificates, language test results, etc.) are accessed by our counselling team exclusively to prepare and submit your university or APS application. They are not used for any other purpose, not shared with third parties for marketing, and are not sold.
When a document is deleted: (1) the file is permanently removed from our primary object storage (EU-Frankfurt); (2) the database record is erased; (3) storage-level backups are overwritten within the backup rotation cycle (7–30 days); (4) a deletion event is recorded in our audit log (document ID, timestamp, reason, acting admin) and the audit log is retained for 1 year for compliance only. Files are not recoverable after the backup cycle completes.
Under GDPR Art. 17 (Right to Erasure), you may request deletion of your uploaded documents at any time when the data is no longer necessary for its original purpose. We will confirm deletion in writing within 30 days. Indian students also have rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), including the right to correction and erasure, exercisable by contacting privacy@ajnova.de.
Our counselling team in India accesses your documents solely to deliver the application services you have engaged. All access is governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), role-based access controls, MFA enforcement, and download audit logging. See our Privacy Policy §10 for full details.
By You: You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your personal data will be erased in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem necessary. We will provide notice where practicable.
We may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
For consumers: If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you may also rely on mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
